Unlike the Latin version of adobo which is made with oregano, cumin, and other spices, Philippine Adobo has many variations but is typically made with vinegar and garlic. Lots of garlic. So if you like garlic, and want to make a very simple and tasty dish, this Chicken Adobo is a sure winner! 20 minutes to cook in the Instant Pot is all you need to have dinner ready!
Adobo is one of the most popular Philippine dishes. It is made using any type of meat and is marinated in vinegar and garlic. And at the end of cooking is typically browned in fat.
The recipe that I'm about to share with you, is the BEST Adobo Chicken Wings recipe if I may say so myself. Why? Because the way I make adobo is easier, cleaner and not browned in fat and therefore, healthier.
